Sharm El Sheikh Airport to Pickalbatros: Transfer and Taxi
Pickalbatros is a brand with ten resorts in Sharm El Sheikh, not one hotel, so the drive from the airport runs from about 8 km (roughly 11 minutes, Palace in Ras Nasrani) to about 24 km (roughly 28 minutes, Aqua Blu in Hadaba) without traffic (our estimates). Below the resorts are grouped by area, with the old names people still search for. The price per car is shown on the airport transfer page once you pick the exact resort.

Ras Nasrani: Palace Resort, the closest one
The official site calls it Pickalbatros Palace Resort Sharm El Sheikh and gives the address as Montazah Area, Ras Nasrani Bay. Our estimate is about 8 km, roughly 11 minutes without traffic; the resort's own page says "just 10 minutes from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport", so the two figures agree. OpenStreetMap lists the building as Albatros Palace Sharm with the old name Melia Sharm, and marks a main entrance node on its edge plus a lift gate roughly 170 m to the north (straight-line, OSM coordinates). The official page mentions a 650 m private beach, a lagoon pool, an adults aqua park and a kids aqua park.
The closest neighbour in OpenStreetMap is Sunrise Remal Resort, about 330 m away in a straight line. Do not confuse Palace with Ivy Cyrene Sharm, a different chain a little further north; our area notes also list the old name Cyrene Grand for the Palace.
Nabq Bay: Laguna Vista, Laguna Club and Royal Moderna
Laguna Vista and Laguna Club are neighbouring resorts, about 14 km and roughly 18 minutes from the airport (our estimate for both). The Laguna Club page says its guests get "complimentary access until midnight" to the beachfront, pools, aqua park and courts of the neighbouring Laguna Vista, so many guests walk between them. OpenStreetMap shows a Laguna Vista Garden marker, the old name of Club, about 240 m west of the Laguna Vista marker, with two gate nodes in between. Which gate a car uses is not described by the resorts; say which of the two you booked.
Pickalbatros Royal Moderna stands at the north end of the bay, on Peace Road, about 17 km and roughly 21 minutes (our estimate). Its old name is Royal Albatros Moderna, and OpenStreetMap still carries the typo "Poyal Albatros Moderna". The nearest hotels in OSM are Steigenberger Alcazar (about 216 m) and Jaz Mirabel (about 225 m). OSM has no entrance node near Royal Moderna, and the resort's own page does not describe its entrance.
Coral Bay (Um Marikha): Golf Beach and Luxury Suites
Pickalbatros Golf Beach Resort has the official address "6619, Um Marikha Bay" and sits by an 18-hole golf course. Our estimate is about 10 km, roughly 14 minutes. OpenStreetMap confirms the old name Maritim Jolie Ville Golf and Resort. Pickalbatros Luxury Suites is on El Salam Road in the same Um Marikha Bay and its beach is described as lying along Golf Beach; we have no separate estimate for it, so treat the Golf Beach figure as the nearest guide (checked 16 October 2026, check before you travel).
Beware of one OSM label: a hotel called Melia Sharm Resort is mapped in this bay about 374 m from Golf Beach. It is not the Palace, whose old name Melia Sharm belongs to Ras Nasrani. More than one gate is mapped around Golf Beach, and the resort does not say which is for arrivals.
Hadaba (Om El Seid): Aqua Blu, Aqua Park Resort, Royal Grand, Albatros Sharm
Four resorts sit on the Om El Seid plateau in Hadaba, the farthest from the airport. Our estimates: Aqua Blu about 24 km, roughly 28 minutes; Royal Grand about 22 km, roughly 26 minutes. Pickalbatros Aqua Park Resort and Albatros Sharm Resort have no estimate of their own; use the Aqua Blu and Royal Grand figures as the nearest guide, and expect about 22 to 24 km (checked 16 October 2026, check before you travel).
This is where the search "pickalbatros aqua blu resort" leads. Aqua Blu stands inside "Aqua Park City", a 140,000 square metre complex with a 450 m promenade; its guests have exclusive use of the private beach of the sister Albatros Sharm Resort, and the Neverland show is held at Pickalbatros Aqua Park Resort. OpenStreetMap shows many entrance nodes around Aqua Blu but does not label which leads to the lobby, so ask the resort. Royal Grand, formerly Iberotel Grand & Palace, takes adults 16+ and couples only.
The hotel's own shuttle and the return trip
None of the ten official Pickalbatros pages we read mentions an airport shuttle, a fee or a check-in and check-out time (the Royal Moderna page only links to a hotel policy, which we did not read). So the resort's own information does not describe a transfer; ask the resort or your tour operator whether one is included in your package, and mention it in your request.
For the return, take the check-out time from your voucher and leave for the airport as your airline advises. From Palace the road is short; from Aqua Blu it is the longest in the group.
What to write in the request
Use the full name on your voucher: Palace Resort, Royal Moderna Resort, Laguna Vista Hotel, Laguna Club Resort, Golf Beach Resort, Luxury Suites, Royal Grand Resort, Albatros Sharm Resort, Aqua Park Resort or Aqua Blu Resort. The word "Aqua Park" alone is ambiguous: the Palace has an aqua park, and Aqua Park Resort and Aqua Blu are neighbours in Hadaba. Add the area and any old name from your booking. The car card shows "Child seat on request", so mention it if you need one.
