Sharm El Sheikh Airport to Reef Oasis Beach Resort: Transfer and Taxi
Reef Oasis Beach Resort stands on Marine Sports Street in Hadaba (Ras Um Sid), about 24 km and roughly 28 minutes from the airport without traffic (our estimate). Its sister hotel SENTIDO Reef Oasis Aqua Park Resort is on the same street, so the request must say which of the two you booked. The price per car is shown on the airport transfer page.
Two hotels on one street: write the exact one in the request
The hotel's official site, reefoasisresorts.com, lists four properties under the Reef Oasis name: Reef Oasis Beach Resort, Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort & Spa, SENTIDO Reef Oasis Aqua Park Resort and SENTIDO Reef Oasis Suakin. The last one is in Marsa Alam and has nothing to do with a Sharm airport run. The two Hadaba hotels give the same address, "Marine Sports Street, Hadbet Um El Sied, 46619 Sharm El Sheikh", yet each has its own page and its own map coordinates; the points differ by roughly 0.3 km on the official contact pages.
Blue Bay is a different hotel altogether: its address is Pasha Bay, which is the Garden Bay area, and in our area table it sits at about 15 km and 19 minutes from the airport. Putting Blue Bay in a request for Hadaba would send the driver to the wrong side of town, so copy the name from your voucher: "Reef Oasis Beach Resort" or "SENTIDO Reef Oasis Aqua Park Resort".
How far it really is: 24 km, 14 km or 16 km
Our area model puts Hadaba / Ras Um Sid at about 24 km, roughly 28 minutes without traffic, with an error of about 2 km. The hotel says something shorter. On the home pages of both hotels the text reads "situated 14 km from Sharm El Sheikh International airport, and 7 km from the main town Na'ama Bay", while the map widget on the contact pages lists the airport at 16.1 km (Beach Resort) and 16 km (Sentido). The hotel's own site therefore gives two figures that do not match each other (checked 16 October 2026, check before you travel).
The straight-line number and the road number are not the same thing, and Hadaba sits at the far southern end of the town, so plan by the longer figure: count on about 25 to 30 minutes in the car, which matches our estimate of roughly 28 minutes without traffic; traffic and checkpoints can add to it.
The hotel's free pickup and its shuttle line: two statements
The offers page of both hotels carries a headline "FREE PICKUP IN ALL REEF OASIS HOTELS RESORTS". To arrange it the hotel asks for an e-mail to the address printed on that page with the arrival date and time, flight number, hotel name, family name and number of guests, and the same for a departure drop. The page also mentions assistance inside the airport offered by the hotel, and warns that a booking made within 48 hours of arrival is not confirmed unless you receive written confirmation. The page does not state which rates or stay lengths qualify.
The facilities pages say something else: "Airport Shuttle (Additional Charge)" and "Shuttle Service (Additional Charge)", with no amount. Both lines are the hotel's own wording (checked 16 October 2026, check before you travel), and we cannot tell you which one applies to your booking. Ask the hotel. A private transfer booked with us is a separate arrangement: you choose the car, give the flight and hotel name in the request, and the price per car is shown before you confirm.
Arriving at the hotel: what the hotel does not say
The official pages give an address and coordinates but do not describe the entrance, a gate, where cars stop or whether the two hotels share a reception. We will not guess it. Write the full hotel name in the request, add the phone number you can be reached on, and ask the hotel's front desk, which the facilities list as open 24 hours (the hotel's wording), which entrance the driver should use.
The grounds are large: the hotel mentions a club car for guests who need transport inside the territory, a "Tuff Tuff" service around the grounds during the day, ground-floor accessible rooms and luggage storage. If anyone in your group uses a wheelchair or has heavy cases, say so in the request. The car card shows "Child seat on request" if you travel with a small child.
What is around Hadaba
The official contact pages list the surroundings with distances: Farsha Cafe and Al Fanar Lighthouse about 0.5 km, Alf Leila Wa Leila about 0.5 to 0.7 km, Il Mercato mall about 1.0 to 1.2 km (the Sentido page says a 10-minute walk), Old Market about 2 km, Terrazzina Beach about 2.1 km, Naama Bay about 6.9 to 7.1 km and SOHO Square about 14.6 to 14.7 km. Ras Um El Sid Beach is listed at 300 to 450 m.
In OpenStreetMap the nearest hotels are JAZ Fanara, still mapped under the old name Iberotel Club Fanara, about 250 m away in a straight line (OSM coordinates), and Club El Faraana at about 240 m. If a guest mentions "Fanara" the neighbour may be meant, not Reef Oasis.
Timing, the aqua park and the return trip
The hotel announces that its aqua park will be closed for renovation from 10 January to 28 February 2027; if you arrive in that period, check what is open before you travel. The official pages give no check-in or check-out time, so take the check-out time from your voucher and ask reception about late check-out, then plan the departure as your airline advises.
For the return trip, the hotel's pickup offer and our transfer both ask for the same details: departure date, flight number and hotel name. Give them in the request, and tell us if the booking is at Beach Resort or Aqua Park.
Transfer terms: name sign, waiting, night price, cancellation
These are the standard terms of our transfer partners (November 2026). The company confirms the details for your trip when it accepts the request.
Name sign: on request, the driver meets you with a sign showing your name. Ask for it when you book.
Free waiting: up to 30 minutes.
Night price: the same as the day price, with no night surcharge.
Cancellation: free. Nothing is paid in advance, so just tell the company at least 24 hours before the pickup time.
