About Charm Rental
Charm Rental is not a rental company or a taxi operator. It is a marketplace that connects travellers in Sharm El Sheikh with independent local companies: rental companies that own the cars, and transport providers whose drivers handle transfers and trips. You choose a specific car on the site and send a free request; the company checks its own calendar and confirms or declines it. Nothing is paid online.
What you can book
Self-drive car rental. Every listing is one specific car with its own photos, price per day, deposit and mileage allowance, never an "or similar" class. Each car's page shows where it can be collected, and any car can be delivered to your hotel or another address in Sharm El Sheikh for the fee shown on that page.
Airport transfers. A private car with a driver between Sharm El Sheikh Airport (SSH) and your hotel, at one fixed price per vehicle.
Transfers to other towns. Private one-way journeys with a driver, for example to Dahab, Saint Catherine and Cairo, also priced per vehicle.
Car with driver by the hour. The car and driver stay with you for the hours you book: shopping, beaches or several stops around Sharm.
Day trips and private tours. Trips such as Ras Mohammed, the Blue Hole in Dahab, Cairo and the Giza Pyramids or Luxor are planned on request and quoted individually. Only what the agreed programme lists is included.
Who provides the car and the driver
Charm Rental does not own the cars and does not employ the drivers. Each car belongs to a local company that sets its own price and availability and lists the car through the marketplace. Before a listing goes live, the Charm Rental team reviews it, and any later change to a published car is reviewed again.
Once your request is confirmed, you deal with that company directly: it agrees the details with you, hands over the car or sends the driver, and handles the rental or the trip itself.
How a request works and when it is confirmed
Sending a request is free and is not yet a booking. You choose the car, the dates or the trip and leave your contact details. The company checks its own calendar and confirms or declines. You can follow the status on your request page.
A booking is final only after the company confirms it. If the car is not free, you can pick another car or other dates. Availability on the site comes from the companies' calendars, but only the company's confirmation secures the car for your dates.
What the prices mean
Self-drive prices are per car per day for your dates; the deposit, mileage allowance and any delivery fee are shown on the car's page. Transfer prices are one price per vehicle with the driver included, not per passenger, so two people and a family of four in the same car pay the same. Hourly prices are per vehicle for the number of hours you choose. Day trips and tours are quoted individually.
Prices can be shown in euros, US dollars or Egyptian pounds. Sending a request is free and nothing is paid online. There is no security deposit for a transfer or a car with driver.
Payment, deposit and rental terms
You pay the local company or its driver directly — not Charm Rental, and never online. How you pay is shown on the booking step or agreed when the company confirms.
For self-drive rental the company sets the deposit, and you see it on the car's page before you send a request. According to our partner companies in Sharm (October 2026), it is usually 300 to 500 US dollars or euros and can reach about 1,000 for an expensive car. Some companies accept holding your passport instead of a cash deposit.
Cancellation, fuel, fines, late return and other rental terms are set by the company for your booking and confirmed with you before or at pickup.
Where it operates
Charm Rental covers Sharm El Sheikh: the airport, Naama Bay, Nabq Bay, Sharks Bay, Hadaba, the Old Market and the other resort areas. Transfers and trips with a driver also go further, for example to Dahab, Saint Catherine and Cairo.
Self-drive cars are generally for use within the Sinai. Driving beyond it needs the company's agreement, and the free Sinai-only entry stamp that many visitors receive at Sharm airport does not cover mainland Egypt.
Languages and contact
The site is available in English, Russian, Italian, Polish and Arabic. Drivers' languages vary: name the language you prefer in your request and the company will tell you whether it can offer it.
