Sharm El Sheikh Airport to Parrotel Resorts: Transfer and Taxi
Parrotel runs three resorts in Nabq Bay: Parrotel Beach Resort, Parrotel Aqua Park Resort and Parrotel Lagoon Waterpark Resort. Our estimate from Sharm El Sheikh airport is about 13 km, roughly 16 to 17 minutes without traffic, for all three. The price per car is shown on the airport transfer page; below is how to tell the three apart and what to write in your request.
The three resorts and the exact names
The official Parrotel site for Sharm El Sheikh lists three hotels: Parrotel Beach Resort, Parrotel Aqua Park Resort and Parrotel Lagoon Waterpark Resort. The last one is often searched as Parrotel Lagoon Resort, and OpenStreetMap carries it under that shorter name. All three official pages give the same address line: Nabq Bay, Sharm El Sheikh, South Sinai, Egypt. No street number, no gate and no reception address appears on any of them.
Because the pages share one address, the name is the only thing that separates the cars' destinations. Copy the full name from your voucher into the request, for example Parrotel Aqua Park Resort and not just Parrotel. If your booking says only Parrotel, check with the tour operator or the hotel which of the three you hold before you travel.
Old names: Radisson Blu and Park Inn
Two of the resorts changed brand. Parrotel Beach Resort was the Radisson Blu Resort Sharm El Sheikh; OpenStreetMap still has the old_name tag Radisson SAS on it, and German Wikivoyage lists it as the former Radisson Blu. Parrotel Aqua Park Resort was the Park Inn by Radisson Sharm El Sheikh Resort; OpenStreetMap still shows that full old name on the building, with Parrotel Aqua Park Resort only as an alternative name. The official pages do not mention former names, and for Parrotel Lagoon Waterpark Resort we found no former name at all.
Why it matters for a transfer: an older printed map, a driver's habit or a navigation app may still say Radisson or Park Inn. If you see those names on the map, they point to the Beach and Aqua Park resorts above, not to a different hotel. Write the current Parrotel name in the request and the old one in brackets if your documents still use it.
Distance: our estimate against other figures
Our estimate is about 13 km. Roughly 17 minutes without traffic for Parrotel Beach Resort, and roughly 16 minutes for Aqua Park and Lagoon (area model, margin about 2 km). For Lagoon we copied the Nabq cluster figure because no separate distance exists, so treat its number as an estimate within the same margin. Nabq Bay stretches along the coast, and across the whole bay the airport trip ranges from about 10 to about 17 km, so a hotel in the middle of the strip sits near our figure.
German Wikivoyage says something different: it puts the airport about 7.5 km south of the bay, which describes the nearest end of the bay rather than these hotels, and it adds that Nabq Bay itself is about 9 km long. The official Parrotel pages give no airport distance at all. Plan by our figure, which follows the road, and allow extra time on the way back.
Beach side and inland side
German Wikivoyage describes Parrotel Beach Resort as a five-star hotel with 329 rooms, mostly twin rooms, in the first row near the beach, with the Camel Dive centre on site (checked 16 October 2026; the dive centre is not on the official page, so check before you travel). It describes Parrotel Aqua Park Resort as a four-star hotel with 365 rooms, west of Peace Road, in the second row. OpenStreetMap places Beach at about 28.026 N, 34.437 E and Aqua Park about 28.026 N, 34.434 E, which is roughly 0.3 km apart; Lagoon is at about 28.025 N, 34.428 E, roughly 0.8 km west of Beach (straight-line, OSM coordinates).
So the Aqua Park and Lagoon resorts are farther from the sea road than Beach, and the walk between them is not a hop across a lobby. If you are meeting friends who stay in another Parrotel resort, ask for the exact resort name rather than assuming a shared entrance.
What each resort offers, from the official pages
The Beach Resort page lists restaurants, bars, a swimming pool, a kids club, a fitness centre, a meeting room, spa and massage, and laundry. The Aqua Park Resort page lists two main pools and three children's pools, an aqua park, and four room types: Standard, Family, Superior and Junior Suite. The Lagoon Waterpark page lists a waterpark with 31 slides, a lazy river, a Tarzan pool and a wavy pool, Italian and Lebanese restaurants among the dining options, and seven room types including Deluxe, Deluxe Jacuzzi, Family and Ultra Deluxe.
For arrivals this means family luggage: strollers, buggies and several suitcases are normal at the two water-park resorts. State the number of passengers and suitcases in the request. The car card shows "Child seat on request".
Neighbours, entrance, shuttle and the return trip
On the map, the nearest hotels to Beach and Aqua Park include Cleopatra Luxury Resort Collection, Sharm Grand Plaza Resort, Aqua Hotel Resort & SPA, Nubian Village and Rixos Sharm El Sheikh Adult Friendly, each roughly 0.3 to 0.5 km away (straight-line, OSM coordinates). OpenStreetMap has gate and entrance nodes nearby, but none is tagged with a Parrotel name, so we cannot say which one the car uses. The official pages do not describe an entrance, a hotel airport shuttle, a fee or check-in and check-out times; ask the hotel and put the answer in the request.
For the return trip, take the check-out time from your voucher or the hotel's reception and leave as your airline advises.
Transfer terms: name sign, waiting, night price, cancellation
These are the standard terms of our transfer partners (November 2026). The company confirms the details for your trip when it accepts the request.
Name sign: on request, the driver meets you with a sign showing your name. Ask for it when you book.
Free waiting: up to 30 minutes.
Night price: the same as the day price, with no night surcharge.
Cancellation: free. Nothing is paid in advance, so just tell the company at least 24 hours before the pickup time.
