Sharm Airport to Savoy, Royal Savoy and Sierra (SOHO Square)

Three hotels, one postal address

On the group’s official site (savoy-sharm.com, checked 16 October 2026) the Savoy Hotel, the Royal Savoy Hotel & Villas and the Sierra Hotel each have their own pages and their own booking choice, yet the footer of every page gives a single postal address: P.O. Box 169, SOHO Square, Sharm El Sheikh, South Sinai. A fourth property of the group, Grand Oasis Resort, sits in the same booking menu. An address that says only “SOHO Square” therefore does not tell a driver which hotel you booked.

Wikivoyage (German edition, White Knight page, checked 16 October 2026) lists them separately as Savoy Sharm El Sheikh, Royal Savoy Sharm El Sheikh “in the Savoy complex” and Sierra Sharm El Sheikh, also shown as Sierra Resort. In the request write the exact name from your voucher and do not shorten it to “SOHO” or “the Savoy”.

Distance: our estimate and the hotels’ own figures

Our estimate for the SOHO Square and White Knight area is about 6 km and 9 minutes without traffic, with a margin of about 2 km. The group’s own pages give several different numbers. The Savoy page says the hotel is “just 8 kilometers from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport” and names no drive time. One Sierra page says “only 6 km”, another says “just 10 minutes”, and the SOHO Square website repeats “just 6 kilometers”. We found no distance on the Royal Savoy pages.

On Wikivoyage coordinates the hotels lie only about 1.4 to 1.8 km from the airport in a straight line, but the road does not run straight, which is why every figure is larger. Plan by the longer one, 8 km, and add the time you need to leave the terminal and find the car.

How the three hotels sit next to each other

The official Savoy page describes 200,000 m² of grounds at the tip of the Sinai Peninsula and says the SOHO Square entertainment centre stands “in the heart of the Savoy Resort on White Knight Beach”. On Wikivoyage coordinates Savoy and Royal Savoy are about 150 m apart, SOHO Square about 230 m from Savoy, and Sierra about 440 m from Savoy (straight lines, so a rough guide only). The group describes Sierra as sitting “opposite its sister hotel, the Savoy” and sharing access to SOHO Square.

Being this close, a car that stops at the wrong hotel can mean a long walk with suitcases. The official pages describe no vehicle entrance, barrier or drop-off point and we found none tied to these hotels in the sources we may use, so we do not say which side a car arrives on. Ask the hotel which entrance and reception serve your room and put the answer in the request.

Royal Savoy: adults only, with its own reception

The group calls Royal Savoy an adults-only resort inside the Savoy complex, “complete with its own reception, private lounge, breakfast room, terrace, pools, and beach area”. If your voucher says Royal Savoy, the reception to ask about is its own and not the Savoy lobby. Its accommodation page lists 45 m² standard rooms, 8 suites of 90 m², 18 junior suites, two-bedroom suites and nine named villas (Alexandria, Aswan, Luxor, Giza, Cairo, Nazli, Cleopatra, Nariman and Farida), each villa with a private pool. Butler service is listed on request for an extra charge.

For the transfer a villa is its own question: ask the hotel whether a car can reach your villa or whether guests are received at the reception. Because the resort is adults only, check the hotel name on your voucher if you travel with children.

Sierra and Savoy: rooms and beach

The Savoy page lists sea, pool and garden view rooms of 45 m², family rooms of 50 m² for up to four guests, a diplomatic suite of 90 m² and a presidential suite of 176 m². Wikivoyage counts 456 rooms for Savoy. Sierra’s official room table adds up, by our own addition, to 387 rooms: 202 standard, 90 deluxe, 83 family or triple rooms of 42 m², 2 special-needs rooms, 2 pool-view suites and 8 suites. The family rooms take up to three adults or two adults with children under 12, which helps when you plan seats and luggage.

Sierra describes 100 m of private beach on White Knight Beach with “a shuttle service every 30 minutes from the hotel”. That is a link to the beach inside the resort and not an airport service. Savoy describes its own 300 m of beach reached by a path down from the pools.

What the official pages do not say

We found no airport shuttle, no airport transfer terms and no arrival instruction on any Savoy Group or SOHO Square page above (checked 16 October 2026; check before you travel). The group’s pages also give no check-in or check-out time. Wikivoyage lists check-in 14:00 and check-out 12:00 for Savoy, Royal Savoy and Sierra alike; treat that as a guide and confirm it with the hotel.

We therefore do not compare a private car with a hotel service here. If you want to know whether the hotel arranges its own transfer, ask the hotel. A private car is shown with its price per car on the airport transfer page, and “Child seat on request” appears on a car’s page when available.

Going back, and the last evening at SOHO Square

For the return, give the same hotel name from your voucher and leave for the airport as your airline advises. The official SOHO Square pages list restaurants, bars, an ice rink, bowling and a cinema, so many guests spend the last evening there. Decide beforehand where your luggage waits and confirm in the request that pickup is at your hotel, not at the square.

Transfer terms: name sign, waiting, night price, cancellation

These are the standard terms of our transfer partners (November 2026). The company confirms the details for your trip when it accepts the request.

Name sign: on request, the driver meets you with a sign showing your name. Ask for it when you book.

Free waiting: up to 30 minutes.

Night price: the same as the day price, with no night surcharge.

Cancellation: free. Nothing is paid in advance, so just tell the company at least 24 hours before the pickup time.
