Sharm El Sheikh Airport to Domina Coral Bay: Transfer and Taxi
Domina Coral Bay sits in Coral Bay, also called Tiger Bay, just south of the airport. Our estimate is about 12 km and roughly 16 minutes without traffic. The hotel's own page says only "just few km from the airport". The price per car is shown on the airport transfer page; the most important thing in your request is the zone of the complex written on your voucher.
One complex, many zones: what to write in the request
On the official Domina page, Domina Coral Bay is a single resort, not a row of separate hotels. The page lists twelve room categories under Prestige, Harem, Elisir Twin, Sultan, King's Lake, Aquamarine, Bellavista and Oasis, plus luxury suites and villas, a Beach Luxury Club, the Desert Arena and a casino called Aladin (checked 16 October 2026). The site does not say which zone has its own reception.
So write the full name, Domina Coral Bay, and then the zone or building exactly as it appears on your voucher, for example Prestige, Harem or Aquamarine. If the voucher gives no zone, ask the hotel before you travel and add the answer to the request. OpenStreetMap places the Aquamarine building about 160 m from the complex centre and the Harem about 500 m to the south (straight-line, OSM coordinates), which shows how spread out the zones are.
How big the grounds are
The official page puts the resort at about one million square metres, beside a coral reef, with a 1.8 km private beach, three floating platforms and a Salt Lake, and capacity for up to 3,000 guests. Wikivoyage lists the entry as Domina Coral Bay Aquamarine Beach with 1,473 mostly two-bed rooms, the same resort under a different entry name. The official page does not mention internal transport, trains or buggies, so we cannot say how guests move between zones; for luggage, ask the hotel where the car should stop.
The address given on the official page is P.O. Box 74, 46619 Sharm el Sheikh, which is a postal address, not a street entrance.
Distance: our estimate and the hotel's wording
Our area model gives about 12 km and roughly 16 minutes without traffic from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, with a margin of about 2 km. The official page gives no figure; it says the resort is a few km from the airport and a few km from Naama Bay. Wikivoyage (German) places Coral Bay, also known as Tiger Bay or Marsa Umm Mureicha, in the north of Sharm, just south of the airport, and notes that taxis are the usual way in and that shuttle buses run to Naama Bay.
Nearby sights named by Wikivoyage for this area are Peace Park, the Al Salam mosque and the National Museum of Sharm el-Sheikh.
Domina Coral Bay is not Gardenia Plaza
Gardenia Plaza Resort, formerly Domina Gardenia Plaza, is a different hotel in Sharks Bay. Our estimate for it is about 10 km and roughly 14 minutes, Wikivoyage gives 407 rooms, the address El Salam Rd., check-in at 14:00 and check-out at 11:00, and OpenStreetMap places it about 3 km north of the Coral Bay complex (straight-line, OSM coordinates). The old Domina name still appears on maps for Gardenia Plaza, so a search for Domina can lead to the wrong gate. If your voucher says Domina Coral Bay, write exactly that.
Shuttle, check-in and the return trip
The official Domina Coral Bay page does not describe an airport shuttle, any fee, an entrance or reception layout, or check-in and check-out times. We therefore cannot quote them. Ask the hotel for the check-out time in your zone, and for the return trip leave as your airline advises. A private car can be ordered for the exact zone you name in the request; the car card shows "Child seat on request".
Transfer terms: name sign, waiting, night price, cancellation
