Sharm Airport to Baron Resort / Baron Palms: Transfer
Baron Resort Sharm El Sheikh and Baron Palms (adults only, 16+) are two separate hotels in Ras Nasrani Bay, about 8 km from the airport, roughly 11 minutes without traffic (our estimate). The pages below tell them apart, because a request that says only "Baron" does not say which gate the car should go to. The price per car is shown on the airport transfer page.
Two hotels under one name
Baron Resort Sharm El Sheikh is the family resort; Baron Palms Sharm El Sheikh is the smaller adults-only boutique hotel (16+) of the same brand. Wikivoyage lists Baron Resort as "Montazah, Ras Nasrani Bay", also under the old name Baron Deluxe Resort, with 357 rooms, and Baron Palms at Ras Nasrani Bay with 238 rooms. Both appear on the brand's own website, baronhotels.com, as separate pages with separate addresses: P.O Box 236 for the resort and P.C. 46619, Ras Nasrani Bay for Baron Palms.
The brand's site also announces a third Sharm property, Baron Cascades Sharm El Sheikh (announced, check before you travel). It is not part of this page, so do not use it as a destination unless your voucher names it.
Distance: our estimate and what the hotels say
We estimate about 8 km and roughly 11 minutes without traffic from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport to both hotels, within a margin of about 2 km. The official Baron pages give no distance or driving time: they only call Sharm El Sheikh Airport the "closest international airport" (checked 16 October 2026). We therefore have no second figure to set against ours, and we do not borrow one from other sites.
The road directions on the official pages are short. Baron Resort says to "follow Peace Road and Naama Bay Road" from the airport, while Baron Palms says to "take Peace Rd directly to Baron Palms". Both point to Peace Road, so the driver does not need the map pin to find the area, only the right hotel.
Resort or Palms: how far apart and what is around
In OpenStreetMap the two hotels are about 0.3 km apart (straight-line, OSM coordinates): Baron Resort at about 27.9722, 34.4203 and Baron Palms at about 27.9746, 34.4220, with an untagged hotel point between them. Coral Sea Sensatori is about 0.3 km east of Baron Palms and Coral Beach Montazah about 0.4 to 0.5 km to the west, so the strip has several resorts close together. Wikivoyage places the Resort in Montazah, a name used for this stretch of Ras Nasrani Bay.
Because the distance between the two Baron hotels is short, a driver sent to the wrong one loses only a few minutes, but you still arrive at a different reception and a different gate. Write the full name from your voucher in the request: Baron Resort Sharm El Sheikh, or Baron Palms Sharm El Sheikh (adults 16+).
Arriving at the right gate
None of the sources we use describes an entrance, barrier or drop-off point for either Baron hotel. OpenStreetMap has gate points about 500 m to the west and east, but they carry no hotel tags, and we do not say they belong to Baron. Ask the reception of your hotel which entrance to use and add it to your request.
Baron Palms is described by the brand as a boutique hotel just 80 metres from a 600-metre private beach, and Baron Resort as just steps from the beach. Baron Resort also has "Adults Only +16" Lagoon Wing rooms, so a guest of the family resort may stay in an adults-only wing: mention the wing in your request if your voucher names it.
The brand's own transfer line
Both official pages carry the line "Book ahead for a stress-free transfer!" and send shuttle reservations to the hotel's reservations team (checked 16 October 2026; check before you travel). The pages do not say who runs the transfer, what vehicle is used, what it costs or what flight details are needed, so we cannot describe those terms. Ask the hotel directly if you want its transfer.
A private car arranged through us is a separate option: the price per car is shown on the airport transfer page, and you give the flight number, the passengers and the exact hotel in the request. The car card shows "Child seat on request"; for a family at Baron Resort, give the children's ages in the request instead of assuming a seat is available.
Check-in, check-out and the return
The official Baron pages show check-in and check-out fields but no times. Wikivoyage gives check-in at 14:00 and check-out at 12:00 for both hotels; treat this as indicative (checked 16 October 2026; check before you travel) and confirm with the hotel. Late check-out is not described.
For the return, set the pick-up time as your airline advises, and tell the reception of your hotel the time the day before. If you stay at Baron Palms and your companions at Baron Resort, arrange one car per hotel or name both in the request.
Transfer terms: name sign, waiting, night price, cancellation
These are the standard terms of our transfer partners (November 2026). The company confirms the details for your trip when it accepts the request.
Name sign: on request, the driver meets you with a sign showing your name. Ask for it when you book.
Free waiting: up to 30 minutes.
Night price: the same as the day price, with no night surcharge.
Cancellation: free. Nothing is paid in advance, so just tell the company at least 24 hours before the pickup time.
