Sharm El Sheikh Airport to Naama Bay Promenade Beach Resort
Naama Bay Promenade Beach Resort sits in the middle of Naama Bay, about 14 km from the airport, roughly 17 minutes without traffic (our estimate). It is the former Marriott Beach Resort and it is built as several wings, so the request has to say which one you booked. The price per car is shown on the airport transfer page.
Distance: our estimate, and what the hotel does not say
We estimate about 14 km and roughly 17 minutes without traffic from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport to the resort, with a margin of about 2 km either way. The hotel's own page on the Accor site gives no airport distance at all; the only kilometre figures on it are distances to other Accor hotels in Sharm. So there is no second number to compare with ours, and we do not invent one (checked 16 October 2026).
The official text places the resort "in the heart of Naama Bay", surrounded by shops, cafes, restaurants and nightlife. That is also what the map shows: OpenStreetMap puts the centre of the property at 27.916, 34.333, in the middle of the bay rather than at its edge.
The exact name, the Marriott past and the three wings
On the official Accor page the hotel is called Naama Bay Promenade Beach Resort. Wikivoyage lists it as the former Marriott Beach Resort, and OpenStreetMap still carries old Marriott names on the spot: a hotel point called Marriott in Arabic about 35 m from the centre of the property, and a building called Marriott Mountain. Maps, old vouchers and some drivers may therefore still say Marriott. Write the current name in your request and put "ex Marriott" after it if your paperwork says so.
The official page describes three phases: the Beach Side, the Mountain Side and the Park Side. It says the beach wing and the mountain wing are connected by a 200 m walk. For a driver this is the important detail, because the two wings are not at one door. Copy the wing from your voucher into the request, for example Beach Side or Mountain Side, and if your voucher names none, ask the hotel before you travel.
Mountain Side renovation, 2026 to 2027
The hotel's own page carries a notice, signed by the hotel management, that the Mountain Side is under interior renovation from 5 April 2026 to 30 June 2027 and that a limited number of rooms are affected (checked 16 October 2026; check before you travel). The notice does not say which rooms, so it does not tell you whether your arrival is changed.
Wikivoyage also lists a sister entry, Naama Bay Promenade Mountain Resort, formerly Marriott Mountain Resort, on Peace Road with the same phone and email as the beach resort. The two entries are one operation, not two competing hotels, but it explains why a navigation app can show two pins. Do not pick a pin yourself; take the wing from the booking.
Gate, reception and the hotel's own shuttle
The hotel's own information does not describe the entrance, a barrier or where a car stops, and OpenStreetMap has no tagged gate for this property. We will not guess; ask reception which door or wing reception to use and add the answer to your request.
The Accor listing shows a Shuttle among the hotel services but gives no conditions: it does not say that the shuttle goes to the airport, whether it must be booked in advance or whether it costs anything (checked 16 October 2026). A private car is a car booked for your party, with the price per car shown on the airport transfer page; the hotel shuttle, if it runs to the airport, is something to ask the hotel about.
The return trip and the neighbours
The Accor page gives check-in from 14:00 and check-out until 12:00. Wikivoyage lists the same times for the beach resort and check-in at 15:00 for the mountain entry. A late check-out is not mentioned on the official page, so ask at the desk; the departure time to the airport is set by your airline's advice, not by the hotel.
Straight-line distances from OpenStreetMap coordinates show what stands around the resort: Al Bostan about 120 m away, Novotel Beach about 160 m, Gafy Resort about 230 m and Novotel Palm about 260 to 350 m. Several of these have similar names, so confirm the name on the confirmation, not only the street.

Name sign: on request, the driver meets you with a sign showing your name. Ask for it when you book.
Free waiting: up to 30 minutes.
