Can I combine Alexandria with Cairo?

You can request a combined itinerary. Dates, travel legs, sightseeing time and overnight stays need assessment and a separate quote.

Does the tour include entry to Qaitbay and the catacombs?

Request interior visits explicitly. The final programme identifies the sites and admission included in the quote.

Is the Bibliotheca Alexandrina included?

It is an optional stop. Specify an outside visit, Main Library entry or museums so visitor arrangements can be checked.

Is this a one-day excursion from Sharm?

There is no guaranteed one-day schedule. The duration depends on the confirmed travel plan; an overnight itinerary may be appropriate.

Private Alexandria tour from Sharm El Sheikh

Explore a different side of Egypt on a private Alexandria itinerary: Mediterranean sea views, the fortress of Qaitbay and the city’s ancient underground heritage. Tell Charm Rental what you want to see and how Alexandria fits your holiday. We will assess travel from Sharm and prepare a separately agreed sightseeing programme and quote.

Qaitbay Citadel and the Mediterranean waterfront

Qaitbay Fort stands on the site of Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse. Make it a focus of a coastal sightseeing session, with time around the waterfront for photographs and a walk. Specify whether you want to enter the fort or view it from outside; these are different visits when planning tickets and time.

Kom el Shoqafa and ancient Alexandria

The catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa reveal a meeting of Egyptian and Greek artistic traditions. They offer a different experience from the open-air coast. Discuss stairs and walking needs before choosing the stop. Kom el Dikka is another archaeological option to consider if it fits your programme.

The library, a waterfront meal and your priorities

You can request the Bibliotheca Alexandrina as an additional stop. An outside photo stop is different from admission to the Main Library or its museums; visitor arrangements must be checked for your date. Leave space for a meal or rest rather than adding every attraction. Restaurant bills and library admission are specified separately in your quote.

Travel from Sharm and an overnight itinerary

Alexandria is a separate journey to Egypt’s Mediterranean coast. Ask us to assess a road itinerary, possible air connections or a programme combined with Cairo for your dates. A direct flight or a same-day return from Sharm is not promised. Agree overnight stays, luggage, final hotel and return arrangements before booking.

Request your private Alexandria programme

Send departure dates, Sharm hotel, passenger count, children’s ages, luggage and desired guide language. Rank the places you want to visit so the route fits your available time. Transport, guiding, admissions, meals and any accommodation must be listed in the quote together with cancellation conditions. Optional stops become part of the tour only when confirmed.
